I arrived in Washington, D.C. after studying creative nonfiction at the University of Pittsburgh, and quickly found myself charmed by the intimacy of the District.

Currently, I’m an editorial and branded content manager with Atlantic Media Strategies, specializing in strengthening audience growth, social presence, and reader engagement through strategic and creative concepts. At AMS, I’ve produced insights and executed on digital strategy for a variety of clients, as well as Atlantic Media’s suite of digital and print publications. Prior to joining AMS, I was the editor-in-chief of DCist, where I was responsible for managing the popular hyperlocal blog, as well as covering transit, city hall, crime, food, sports, music, movies, local media, and other reporting beats. My work has also been published in the Washington Post and the Washington City Paper, among others.

I take my bourbon with one ice cube.

And a local beer.

And maybe a sandwich.
